KB Club, the philanthropic medical students club at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, will host a medical outreach on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Christ Apostolic Church, Egbeda, Lagos.

The outreach, which is being organised in commemoration of its 53rd Annual Philanthropic Day, is focused on improving maternal health and reducing child mortality. Professionals from the Lagos State Ministry of Health will be on ground to perform Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer screening for 100 women. There will be distribution of mosquito nets, essential drugs and other health supplies at the event. Free medical consultations for mothers and children will also be available.

The theme for the event is “A Chance at Life for the Future”.
