The University of Lagos Management wishes to notify members of the University community that the campus is currently affected by the power supply system collapse from the national grid. The collapse occurred on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 and it is yet to be fixed.
In view of the above, there will be rationing of power supply to the community through the University’s back-up supply (generators). The power distribution schedule is as follows:
- Academic Area – 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Hostel Area – 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Staff quarters – 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Members of the University are thus enjoined to bear with the Management as the above arrangement will be sustained till power supply from the national grid is fully restored
