The Federal Government through the National Pension Commission (PenCom) has directed all Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders in Federal Government Treasury-Funded Ministries, who were employed before June 30, 2004 to participate in a one-off enrollment and verification exercise.
Please note that:
- This directive applies to members of staff who were employed BEFORE JUNE 30, 2004 and those that transferred their service to the University of Lagos.
- The exercise is aimed at ensuring the timely release of accrued rights into individual RSAs and the prompt payment of retirement benefits to eligible employees upon retirement.
- All affected members of staff are required to visit their respective Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) for data recapture as a pre-requisite for participation in the enrolment and verification exercise.
- The enrolment and verification exercise will commence on Monday, February 2, 2026. It will be conducted in two tranches as indicated below:

In view of the foregoing, all affected members of staff are strongly encouraged to comply promptly and carry out the exercise with due diligence, in line with the directive of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).
