The Management of the University of Lagos at its meeting of Monday, July 29, 2019 noted with concern the recurrent cases of theft, pilfering and burglaries on campus and the need to checkmate the criminal acts.
In view of this, Management has decided that all Deans of Faculty and Heads of Department/Unit should ensure that members of staff and students put on their identity cards within the University of Lagos premises as the Security Officers and Porters on duty will continually request for such identity cards to access the Gates, Faculties, Departments, Libraries, Laboratories and Halls of Residence.
