Management of the University of Lagos, on Monday, February 7, 2022, played host to a team from the Gombe State University, Gombe, Nigeria.
The 5-man team are on the UNILAG campus to understudy some of the major programmes of the University of Lagos.
According to an introductory letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Gombe State University; Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty and presented to the host Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, the visiting team are on the UNILAG campus to understudy the Distance Leaning Institute (D.L.I.), the UNILAG/Bank of Industries Incubation hub/Skills and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, the Research and Innovation Office, the office of International Relations, Partnerships and Prospect (IRPP) as well as the Bursary unit.
The visit is aimed at familiarizing the Gombe State University team with the workings, hindsight and success stories which the University of Lagos has recorded in all the programmes as the Gombe State University hopes to set up similar facilities.
The visiting team is made up of;
