With the theme: “Artificial Blood and Haemoglobin-Based Oxygen Carriers (HBOCs): Are We There Yet?”, the seminar will explore current scientific advancements and ongoing debates surrounding the development of artificial blood substitutes and haemoglobin-based oxygen carriers as viable clinical alternatives.

The event will feature a presentation by Prof. Alani S. Sulaiman, MD, FMCPath, FAMeds.

The seminar will stimulate rich academic discourse among faculty members, clinicians, researchers, and postgraduate students, particularly in the areas of Haematology, Transfusion Medicine, and Translational Biomedical Research.

Members of the University Community and general public are cordially invited.
