Dr. UAC Okafor Appointed Member of National Health Research Ethics Committee

Associate Professor of Physiotherapy, College of Medicine, University of Lagos and President of the Association of Clinical and Academic Physiotherapists of Nigeria (ACAPN), UAC Okafor, has been appointed as a member of the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC).

The 14-man committee, inaugurated on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 by the Honourable Minister of State for Health, Dr Tunji Alausa, is charged with the responsibility of formulating and ensuring adherence to guidelines governing health research.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, on behalf of the Senate, Management, members of staff and students of the University of Lagos congratulates Dr. UAC Okafor on the deserved recognition and appointment and wishes him a successful tenure of office.
