Ahead of the commencement of activities for the new academic session, the Distance Learning Institute of the University of Lagos, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, held a one-day interactive training workshop with individuals who have been appointed as e-Tutors.
The workshop, which was a blended event, was a continuation of the capacity development programme of the Institute for its teaching personnel, Facilitators and e-Tutors. (Click here to see the training for Facilitators).
Still working with the theme, Navigating the Maze of Learning Management Systems and Strategies for Effective Remote Classroom Facilitation, the workshop took the participants through interactive sessions on the Learning Management System environment. Facilitators took participants through topics like Tutor Marked Assessment, Computer Marked Assessment, the operationalisation of Feedback Mechanisms between the Institute and its Learners, and Rules of Engagement.
The training workshops brought together educators and administrators in the field of open distance education to explore best practices, innovative strategies, and emerging technologies in learning management systems.
