Department of Geography Inaugurates Geo-Weekly/Friday Agric. Market, Dec. 18

The Department of Geography cordially invites the University community to the inauguration of its Weekly/Friday Agric. Market scheduled below:

Date:             Friday, December 18, 2020

Time:            8:00a.m. – 12:00 noon

Venue:         CITS bus stop, UNILAG

This market will feature the sale of produce such as a variety of exotic and local vegetables – bitter leaf, Ugwu leaves, ewedu leaves, shoko, tete, etcetera; spices, ornamental plants for beautification, agricultural inputs – seeds, fertilizers, etcetera; herbs and so on, cultivated in the Geo-Organic Research and Learning Farm. The market shall be held every Friday at the same venue and time.

N.B: The market will not be held on Friday, December 25, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2020 as they are public holidays. Hence, after its inauguration, the market shall reconvene on Friday, January 8, 2021.
