COVID-19 Vaccination: Status Update on Administration of First and Second Dose

The Medical Centre wishes to inform all members of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) community that the administration of the first (1st) dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine is no longer available at the vaccination site, however the second (2nd) dose of the vaccination remains available as follows:

Date: Monday 11th October, 2021 – Friday 19th November 2021 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. daily
Venue: Tolu Odugbemi (Staff School) Hall

All members of the community who are yet to take their second dose despite a due appointment date are to do so at the earliest possible time. Members of the community whose appointment dates are not yet due, should kindly present to the vaccination site on the scheduled appointment date.

The Moderna and Oxford Astra Zeneca Vaccine both require 2 doses of varying intervals to achieve full protection against COVID-19, and so it is important to complete the vaccination.
