Council Directive on Eligibility for Promotion for Non-Teaching Staff

The Governing Council, University of Lagos, at its meeting held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, considered the letter of appeal from the Non-Teaching staff on the 2018/2019 promotion Exercise. After careful consideration of the matter, Council approved that the recommendations contained in the paper be implemented and also directed that for a staff to be eligible for promotion, the following requirements must be met:

a) An average score of 70% for the three appraisal years.

b) Must score a minimum of 70% in at least two out of the three appraisal years.

c) Must not score less than 60% in one of the three appraisal years.

d) Evidence of prerequisite qualification and good records.

The above is for the attention of all non-teaching members of staff.
