A total of One Thousand, Two Hundred and Eleven (1,211) students will bag first class and distinction categories of degrees at the 56th Convocation Ceremonies of the University of Lagos. UNILAG 56th Convocation: Hooding Ceremony for PhD Graduates Holds, Jan. 21

The School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos will hold the Hooding Ceremony for the 2025 PhD graduates on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Pavilion, UNILAG Sports Centre. Red carpet and photo-shoot for the PhD graduates will begin at 3:00 p.m. while official hooding ceremony will commence at 4:00 p.m.

Three (3) Lecturers of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have been announced as the first recipients of the Sahara Making a Difference (MAD) Grant. The lecturers were announced as recipients of the grant at the 55th Convocation Ceremonies of the University held from Tuesday, January 13 to Thursday, January 17, 2025.
