CALL FOR PAPERS: FASU Games Scientific Conference 2024

The Scientific Conference Committee of the Federation of Africa University Sports (FASU) Games 2024 hereby invites researchers, practitioners, sports administrators, experts involved in institutional sports, health and fitness professionals, students and relevant stakeholders to submit papers for the FASU Games Scientific Conference.

The 2024 FASU Games will be co-hosted by the University of Lagos, Akoka and the Lagos State University, Ojo in September 2024 with the theme: Unite, Compete, Excel.

The Scientific Conference which will be held during the Games has the theme: Fostering Unity, Healthy Competition and Global Excellence Through University Sports.

The  Scientific Conference Committee welcomes papers that address the theme of the conference, as well as any research related to the future of institutional sports. Papers should be original, unpublished and not under review elsewhere. Conference details are as follows:

Date:              23^rd to 25^th September, 2024

Venue:           Lagos State University, Badagry Expressway, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria.

Duration:     3 days (Arrival, Conference, Departure)

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1. Abstracts should be written in English, the official language of the conference. Abstract must summarise original work that has not been previously published.
2. Abstracts can also be submitted for poster presentation.
3. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, including the title, authors, institutional affiliations, and main content.
4. Underline the name of the author giving the presentation.
5. Abstract should be submitted as Microsoft Word document; Times New Roman 12 pt, single-spacing.
