CALL FOR PAPERS: 1ST INT’L CONFERENCE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPT., UNILAG

The Department of Business Administration in the Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG) hereby calls for papers for its First (1st) International Conference.

The Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14 to Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Tayo Aderinokun Multipurpose Hall, UNILAG; and the theme is Exploring the Future of Sustainable Entrepreneurship Development in Africa. Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.

The focus of the African Continent, through the African Union and several other regional blocs such as ECOWAS, COMESA, CEN-SAD, AMU, IGAD SACU, SADC and EAC, has been towards achieving the 2012 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, with the fast approaching 2030 timeline set at the 2015 historic UN Summit, there is a need to refocus the approach of the continent towards sustainable enterprise development. This is because the future of Africa’s socio-economic landscape depends strongly on our intentionality towards enabling the ubiquity of new enterprises and also towards enterprise development and growth.

Conference Tracks:

  • Entrepreneurship Processes
  • Corporate Entrepreneurship
  • Social and Sustainable Entrepreneurship
  • Gender in Business Administration
  • Entrepreneurship and Regional Development
  • Cultural and Creative Industries and Enterprise Development
  • Entrepreneurial Finance and Accounting
  • Technology and Product Design
