POIC (Professor Ogundipe Innovative Challenge) is a platform built to empower students and young entrepreneurs between ages 16 and 35, from around the nation.
It is a science and technology competition which is set to reward technological innovations, novel scientific concepts/ideas, redefined approach(es) to existing solutions to problems etc.
Participants are invited to submit their innovative ideas and projects with a societal impact, which puts into consideration the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and champions one or more of the following focus areas:
- Agriculture,
- Software Engineering, and
- Security.
The overall goal of POIC is to promote entrepreneurship, technological revolution and improved economic outlook.
