The application phase of the Business Innovation and Talent Expression (BITE) 2.0 competition for students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced.
Sponsored by the Oladele Fajemirokun Foundation (OFF) in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Centre (ESDC) of the University, the timelines of BITE 2.0 are as follows:
| Launch of BITE Applications | December 18, 2023 |
| Announcement of Successful Applicants | January 16, 2024 |
| Compulsory Training for Applicants | January 17, 2024 |
| 1st Level Pitching Competition | March 11-16, 2024 |
| 2nd Level Pitching Competition | March 19, 2024 |
| Grand Finale Competition | March 28, 2024 |
The competition is open solely to UNILAG students from 100 Level (Freshers) to 900 Level (Ph.D. Students), as well as students of the Distance Learning Students (DLI), Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) and Sandwich programme who:
- are duly registered
- have Matriculation Numbers of the University, and
- are VALID STUDENTS under the current 2023/2024 Academic Session.
Winners of the competition shall receive the following SEEDFUND/GRANTS:
- Grand Winner (first position):
N2,000,000 (Two Million Naira) - 1st Runner-up (second position):
N1,200,000 (One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira Only) - 2nd Runner-up (third position):
N750,000 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only)
