The Admissions Office is in charge of admitting eligible candidates in compliance with the National University Commission’s standards and quota. The Unit is responsible for processing applications for admission into all full-time undergraduate programmes in close collaboration with the University Central Admissions Committee.

The Distance Learning Institute (DLI) functions as the arm of the University dedicated to overseeing and coordinating Open and Distance Learning programs. With an elevated status akin to that of a faculty, it possesses distinct administrative bodies, including a Management Board and an Academic Board.
The University of Lagos established the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) with the primary objective of ensuring the effective and equitable delivery of undergraduate part-time programs. Through rigorous monitoring and evaluation processes, the Institute strives to maintain the quality of education at a level comparable to full-time programs, safeguarding against disruptions such as strikes.
Established over six decades ago, the University of Lagos has been a beacon of qualitative and research-oriented education for thousands of knowledge seekers who come to its domain from Nigeria and Abroad.Â
