During the visit, she will be joining other participants from not less than 18 universities across and beyond Africa to undergo a 7-day training as well as discussions with other UASP cohort of fellows.
The visit will afford Dr. Basirat Oyalowo an opportunity to further broaden her scope around research through exchange and sharing of ideas with other participants, build contacts, expand her network as well as observe research management practices in the universities, It will also enable her to build on the online exchange already established with her host University (Clemson University) where she is already developing collaborative partnerships for departments in the Built Environment.
On completion and in line with the objective of the fellowship, Dr. Basirat Oyalowo will use the experience garnered to further refine a reform plan that would further strengthen research management in the University of Lagos.
