Management of the University recently directed the implementation of the re-designation and conversion of some members of staff to another career path.
This is consequent upon the approval of the University’s Governing Council on the re-designation and conversion of some members of staff to another career path for career progression and advancement in their chosen career.
The Human Resource Management Directorate is therefore notifying all Heads of Department/Unit, Directors of Centre/Institute and Deans of Faculty that the re-designation and conversion should not debar any member(s) of staff from promotion provided the affected staff member(s) has/have spent a minimum of three years on the former career path and possess(es) the minimum qualification.
