UNILAG Hosts French Embassy’s E-Waste Panel Discussion

The University of Lagos is set to host a virtual panel discussion organised by the French Embassy, through the Institut Français and the Institut Français de Recherche en Afrique, with the theme: “E-Waste Impact on Local Communities”, as scheduled below:

The Panel Discussion will examine different key areas of e-waste, such as the management, the policy, the informal sector and more.

Panellists:

  • Prof Osibanjo Oladele – Executive Chairman of Jawura Environmental Services, former Head of Department of Chemistry, University of Ibadan, former National President of Chemical Society of Nigeria and member of Governing Board of Sustainable Electronics Recycling International.
  • Prof Innocent C. Nnorom – Head, Department of Chemistry, Abia State University
  • Prof Kehinde Olayinka – Department of Chemistry, University of Lagos
  • Mr Idris Aminu – Business Development Manager, Hinckley’s Recycling

Dr Temilola Oluseyi – Department of Environmental Chemistry, University of Lagos
