The Confucius Institute, University of Lagos (UNILAG), will be holding a symposium and 2 speech competitions to celebrate the 49 year relationship between Nigeria and China as well as Nigeria at 60 and China at 71.
The Symposium, which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2020, will feature a Keynote Speech to be delivered by Prof. Bola Akinterinwa, former Director- General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), entitled, “Diplomatic, Educational and Cultural Relationship between Nigeria and China”.
The Speech Competitions, will involve speech presentations from both High School and University Students on “Nigeria-China Relations” and “Nigeria-China Educational and Cultural Exchanges at 60” respectively. These will hold on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
Both the Symposium and Speech Competitions will commence at 10:00 a.m. on their respective dates and hold at the Faculty of Arts Board Room, University of Lagos. Interested individuals are also welcome to join the event on Zoom using the following details.
