The University of Lagos will on Friday, January 30, 2026, host the GLocalWater Learning Exchange Programme, an academic and knowledge-sharing event focused on water security and participatory data interpretation in Nigeria.
The programme is being held under the research project titled “Localising Global Data through Participatory Interpretation: A Water Security Case Study in Nigeria (GLocalWater Project)”, led by a Senior Lecturer and Environmental Toxicologist at the University of Lagos, Dr. Temitope Sogbamu.
The Learning Exchange Programme will be facilitated by Dr Feng Mao from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and is designed to foster cross-institutional dialogue on how global data can be meaningfully interpreted and applied within local contexts to address water security challenges.
