The quarterly disposal of unserviceable items within the Senate House in collaboration with the Board of Survey has commenced.
This move is part of efforts aimed at:
Ensuring a cleaner, safer and improved working environment;
Preventing the obstruction of corridors and staircases;
Enhancing housekeeping standards; and
Mitigating health and safety risks associated with the indiscriminate accumulation of unserviceable items within the Senate House.
Please note that all departments and units within Senate House are to:
Identify all unserviceable items in their offices; and
Compile a comprehensive inventory of such items using the prescribed format (click here for the prescribed format) for ease of collation and processing.
Submit the inventory of unserviceable items, on or before Monday, January 26, 2026 to Senate Maintenance Unit, 2nd Floor, Senate House, UNILAG .
