Accomplished Broadcaster, Diplomat and Boardroom Guru, Dr Christopher Kolade, CON, delivered the 6th edition of the E.A Adeboye Annual Public Lecture at the J.F. Ade-Ajayi Auditorium on Tuesday, 4th February 2020.
The elder statesman and octogenarian held the audience spell-bound with his authoritative delivery on the topic, “Life and Living: Examining the Essence”.
With repeated references to passages of the Holy Bible, Dr Kolade shared such wisdom and insights that got the enamoured audience to repeatedly interject his presentation with rounds of applause.
“…We know that it is in our heart that God prefers to communicate and relate with us … The essence of living, therefore, is that our heart must be centrally and fully involved in the way we live.”, Dr Kolade said.
The E.A. Adeboye Annual Public Lecture is a yearly event organized by the Triumphant Elders Forum, a fellowship of retired elders in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in celebration of the birthday of the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. He was represented at the event by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, chaired the event.
