The Staff Training and Development Centre will be organising a 2-Day Training Workshop on “Public Sector Financial Management, Planning and Control” for Accountants in the Bursary and Internal Audit. This workshop is aimed at training and developing participants to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently.
The workshop is scheduled as shown below:

Time: 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. daily
Venue: Staff Training & Development Centre (Training Room)
The objectives of the training workshop are to:
- Build the skills and competencies of University Accountants and Internal Auditors to global standards;
- Raise participants awareness of current trends and developments in public accounting, financial management and auditing; and
- Identify weaknesses in the University’s internal control systems and suggest innovations and reforms for improving the University’s financial systems.
