Representatives of the National Universities Commission (NUC) paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, today, Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Senate Chamber, Senate Building, UNILAG.
The team were in the University for the accreditation of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in some departments of the Faculty of Management Sciences. The departments that will undergo accreditation and the respective NUC Accreditation Teams are:

The Prof. Ogundipe welcome the visitors warmly, saying the University of Lagos takes accreditation seriously as it is an avenue to gain external insights which will help the University improve on what is delivers and produces.
He encouraged the guests to do a thorough evaluation, as the University will received their findings in good faith and improve in necessary aspects. Thereafter, he assured them sufficient provision has been made for their comfort and invited them to contact either the Ag. Director of Academic Planning, who is also the Director of Research & Innovation Office, Prof. Bola O. Oboh or the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics & Research), Prof. Oluwole B. Familoni, should any need for medical attention arise.
The Vice Chancellor heartily welcomed the NUC representatives once again and invited them, in the course of their working visit, to enjoy the ambience of the University and its environment.
