Members of staff of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) are hereby notified that the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has launched the Tertiary Education, Research, Application and Services (TERAS) platform for all intervention supports of the fund.
Consequently, all university staff in Nigeria are expected to be onboarded onto the platform through the Beneficiary Institution Management Systems (BIMS) under the coordination of the institution’s, Director, ICT.
According to information received, the University of Lagos was onboarded last year August, 2023 but it was incorrect data that were attributed to the University. The Director, Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe Centre for Information Technology and Systems (ABS-CITS), UNILAG, Professor Muhammed O.H. Amuda, has therefore requested for the data to be removed and a new one uploaded in view of commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session.
Kindly be informed that this courtesy was accorded to the University and the Director, ABS-CITS, has now uploaded the correct data for both academic and non-teaching members of staff of the university with that of the students outstanding.
Based on the foregoing, members of staff would be receiving email notifications from the BIMS platform requesting individuals to validate and activate their accounts (some may have received this email already). Please rest assured that the email notification is authentic and not a spam. Kindly complete the process by activating your account.
Kindly note that without having a BIMS ID, no one would be able to assess TETFUND intervention henceforth.
