Afterwards, the Chairman presented a monograph to Mrs. Makinde. The monograph was launched at the 13th Annual General Meeting and Election of the chapter held on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Mrs. Makinde

In response, Mrs. Makinde reminisced on how she joined NIM in 2004. She mentioned that, over the years, she has gained a lot from the professional body, having attended numerous trainings in Nigeria and Africa. She congratulated the new executives and charged them to do more in terms of empowering its members, especially in the area of organizing trainings. Pledging her unalloyed support to members interested in undergoing trainings organized by the association, she tasked the chapter to compile a list of relevant trainings which would boost the professionalization of its members at the University of Lagos.
