Eligibility Requirements for Contractors Bidding for Contracts/Jobs in University of Lagos

The Efficiency Unit, University of Lagos wishes to inform all Departments/Units that all intending contractors bidding for contracts/jobs in the University of Lagos are required to present the underlisted documents:

LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (e.g., ABC Nigeria Limited)

1. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
2. Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (e.g., 2021, 2022 & 2023) expiring the current year (e.g., December 31, 2024).
3. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund Compliance Certificate expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g., 2024)
4. Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g., 2024).
5. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g., 2024).
6. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration report expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g., 2024)

BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (e.g., XYZ Enterprises)

1. Certificate of Business Name issued by Corporate Affairs Commission.
2. Personal Income Tax valid for the current year (e.g., 2024).
3. Form CAC B/N/1 (To reconcile the name on Tax Clearance Certificate with the name of the Proprietor).

Please note that all documents for the year 2023 will lapse on April 1, 2024.
