The University of Lagos Sustainability Challenge is back!
Organised by the University of Lagos Green Hub in collaboration with the Division of Students Affairs, the Sustainability Challenge aims to promote environmentally friendly practices and waste recycling among students and staff on campus.
The UNILAG Sustainability Challenge 2.0 sets out enhance Waste Recycling through the “Recycle Bottles 4 Drink” incentive. The recycling incentive involves collecting plastic bottles in exchange for drinks and meal tickets.
Details of participation are stated below:

UNILAG Sustainability Challenge 2.0 will kick-off with a campus-wide awareness campaign which is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The campaign train will visit all Faculties on Campus and go on a walk from Moremi Cab Park to the Main Gate.
Members of the University Community are encouraged to look out for the campaign train and get set to sign up for UNILAG Sustainability Challenge 2.0, as it promises to fun, rewarding, and positively impacting on our environment.
Instant gifts will be given to students willing to participate in the “Recycle Bottles 4 Drinks” during the campaign.
