IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL NON-TEACHING STAFF: Mop-Up Exercise for 2023 Coursera Training

This information is for all Non-Teaching Staff of the University of Lagos who have not taken the free Coursera online courses.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, has approved that the Coursera online training for non-teaching members of staff be resumed.

Also note that, by a resolution of the University Management on Monday, September 11, 2023, training exercises will now be part of requirements for the confirmation and promotion for members of staff.

Therefore, it is strongly recommended that all non-teaching members of staff, who are yet to take the course, take advantage of the mop-up exercise so that no one is left out, as the Coursera online training formed bulk of the trainings available for this category of staff in 2023.

Consequently, the Staff Training & Development Unit (STDU) hereby announces a mop-up exercise.

A Google Form has been designed to collect and process the data of all non-teaching members of staff who are yet to be trained and certified by Coursera. You can access the form here.

In line with the above, the form is to be filled by three categories of non-teaching members of staff of the university. These are:

  • .    Those who were inadvertently omitted during the invitations for the Coursera online training.
  • .    Those who were removed from the programme due to inactivity, or who exceeded deadlines and still could not finish.
  • .    Those who never participated in the training despite invitations.

Affected members of staff should click here to register for the Mop-Up Exercise.
