The KB Klub of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold its 54th Annual Academic and Philanthropic Events as indicated below:
- Academic Event: Stack Reform Conference 2023

- Philanthropic Event: Blood Donation Drive
Date: Friday, November 17, 2023 Time: 10:00 a.m.
Venue: Indoor Sports Complex, Sport Center, UNILAG, Akoka
Theme: Your Power to Gift Life
The KB Klub is an exclusive socio-philanthropic club of male medical students in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. The club was founded in 1969 by a group of seven (7) medical students: Dr. Abiodun Osinubi, Dr. Yomi Phillips, Dr. Femi Adegoke, Dr. Wole Fajembola, Dr. Timi Alabi, Dr. Akinbo, and headed by renowned reproductive endocrinologist, Professor Oladapo Ashiru, OFR, the first Keebite/President of the KB Klub. With the motto being TOGETHERNESS, the KB Klub stands on a tripod of Philanthropy, Academic excellence, and Social empowerment.
The academic event: Stack Reform Conference 2023 will feature secondary school debates, essay competition, and an online academic seminar. It is expected to bring together major stakeholders in the Healthcare, Health IT & FinTech sectors, as well as young creatives and innovators to create collaborative solutions with potential start-ups and funding that would be beneficial to the three sectors. The philanthropic event: Blood Donation Drive is an initiative aimed at significantly improving and addressing issues surrounding voluntary blood donation in the society.
All members of the University community and the general public are invited to the academic and philanthropic events.
