UNILAG-TETFund Project Team on DNA Barcoding Holds Workshop on DNA Barcoding Techniques, May 23 

The UNILAG-TETFUND Project Team on DNA Banking and Barcoding of Endangered Tree Species in Nigeria hereby invites interested participants to its three-day Training Workshop on DNA Barcoding Techniques.

Details of the event are as follows:

Date:             Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th May, 2023

Time:             9:00 am – 5:00 pm daily

Venue:          Forensic Laboratory, D.K. Olukoya Central Research and Reference Laboratories, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

Modules of the Workshop include:

•          Pipetting Techniques

•          DNA Extraction

•          DNA Purification

•          Amplification of gene regions

•          Electrophoresis

•          Spectrophotometry

•          Analysis of PCR Data
