The African Center of Excellence for Drug Research, Herbal Medicine Development and Regulatory Science (ACEDHARS) hereby calls for expression of interest for the position of Environmental and Social Safeguard Officer at the Centre. The Officer will be responsible for taking measures to avoid, minimize, and mitigate the adverse environmental and social impacts of any of the Centre’s activities.
The Centre is currently running a World Bank/French Development Agency project and officers are seconded to the Centre on a part-time basis by the Vice Chancellor. The Safeguard Officer will be selected after a competitive process.
There is no honorarium or top-up to Salary paid for the role, but benefits include:
