A delegation from Access Bank paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, at her office on the 11th floor of the Senate House on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
The Team which was led by the Regional Director for Retail Banking Lagos 1 Directorate, Yewande Shoneye-Vaughan paid the visit to assure the Vice-Chancellor of Access Bank’s readiness to continuously offer good services to the University community.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed pleasure at the visit and rated highly Access Bank’s services in the University. She reiterated one of the University’s foci – which is manpower development, mentioning that the University is ever-ready to bridge the town and gown via curriculum development with 30% input from industry. She encouraged Access Bank to organise job fairs from where the bank can engage students and alumni of the University.
Prof. Ogunsola, while highlighting some of the IT hubs, Design Studios, Entrepreneurship centre, which the Bank can take advantage of in the University, invited the team to a stage play to be performed by students of the Creative Arts Department at Terra Kulture in April, 2023.
