Online Recruitment of Ad-hoc Staff via INEC Portal for the 2023 General Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the recruitment of Ad-hoc Staff for the 2023 General Elections.

Interested members of staff and students are enjoined to apply via any of the following websites:

All prospective ad-hoc staff with the exception of Collation Officers and Returning Officers must apply via the online portal to be eligible for selection and deployment as ad-hoc staff in the 2023 General Election. Upon completion of the online registration:

1.       Applicants for the post of Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO) are expected to submit a copy of their printed acknowledgment slip and one (1) passport photograph at the State Office.

2.       Applicants for the post of Presiding Officers (POs) and Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs) are to proceed to the Local Government Area Office they have chosen to work (Monday -Friday, from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm) with a copy of the online registration slip, passport photograph and photocopies of their credentials for proper documentation.

The application portal will close on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
