It was the turn of a total of three hundred and ninety-eight (398) fresh students of the Sandwich Programme, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos to take the Matriculation Oath on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Jelili Omotola Multipurpose Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka.
The Dean, Faculty of Education, Prof. S.A. Oladipupo presented the matriculating students in the Departments of Adult Education, Arts Education, Social Sciences Education, Educational Management, Educational Foundations, Human Kinetics and Health Education, Science Education, Technology and Vocational Education to the Vice Chancellor. Afterwards, the Registrar, Oladejo Azeez, Esq administered the Oath to the students.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe FAS represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics and Research, Professor Bolanle Oboh congratulated the new intakes. She encouraged them to be of good conduct, abide by the rules and regulation of the University and also, be good ambassadors of the University wherever they are.
Present at the event were the Registrar, Oladejo Azeez Esq; University Librarian, Prof. Abosede Y. Zaid; Provost, College of Medicine, idi-Araba, Prof. David Oke; Director, Academic Planning, Prof. Mopelola Olusakin; Director, Quality Assurance and SERVICOM, Prof. Grace Otinwa; Director, Institute of continuing Education, Prof. Oladele Orimoogunje among others.
