The Works & Physical Planning Unit honoured the 12th and outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, at his office on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Led by the Ag. Director, Engr. J.A. Akinwande, the contingent presented gifts to the Vice-Chancellor in appreciation of his sterling leadership.
“The globe on this award being given to you represents out prayer for you to go on to become a global champion after your very successful time here”, Engr. Akinwande said.
The Vice-Chancellor, in his response, appreciated the gesture. He commended the leadership and staff of the Works & Physical Planning Unit for their support. He then challenged them to extend the same support to his successor in office.
“It is my belief that every single one in the system is important. I believe in this system, and that everyone who contributes to the growth of the system should be able to rise to the peak of their chosen track and to the best of their abilities. I urge you to keep up the good work, and to give the same support I enjoyed from you to my successor. I thank you all”.
