UNILAG Student Affairs Division Celebrates Outgoing Vice-Chancellor

Staff of the Students Affairs Division led by the Dean, Professor Musa A. Obalola paid courtesy call on the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Temitayo Ogundipe, FAS in his office at the Senate House on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

In his remarks, the Dean explained that they visited to felicitate with the outgoing Vice-Chancellor for the exemplary leadership and support he showed the Students Affairs Division during his tenure.

While describing Prof. Ogundipe as a man of many parts, Professor Obalola pointed out that the outgoing Vice-Chancellor’s legacy within the University made him seem like the most accomplished Vice-Chancellor in the history of the Institution.

In response, Prof. Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS expressed his utmost gratitude to the DSA and Staff of the Division, for the love shown to him. He enjoined the leadership to come up with new strategies for maintaining friendly relationship with the new and returning students in order to get vital information from them in time.

He mentioned the issue of security as a major concern especially with the exposure of the present youthful population, and enjoined the Student Affairs leadership to frequently liaise with the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the University to get rid of unwanted tendencies in the varsity’s environment.

Azeez Esq; Bursar, Mrs. Olufunmilola Y. Adekunle; Director, Academic Planning, Prof. Mopelola A. Olusakin; Director, Quality Assurance and SERVICOM, Prof. Grace O. Otinwa; Director, UNILAG Business School (ULBS), Prof. Mike A. Adebamowo and the Deputy Registrar (Staff Training and Development Unit), Mrs. Josephine A. Asiwaju and other members of staff of the Students Affairs Division.
