UNILAG Fellowship Celebrates Outgoing VC with Special End of Tenure Thanksgiving Session

A Special End of Tenure Thanksgiving Session for the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, was held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Chapel of Christ Our Light (Protestant).

The thanksgiving session, organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) UNILAG Fellowship was attended by both students and staff of the University. It was a memorable one as the Vice-Chancellor gave a testimony about his travails and victories as the 12th Vice-Chancellor of the University. The preacher, Reverend Azuka Ogbolumani gave a brief charge on returning from setbacks. He informed that “a setback is allowed for a purpose”.

Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, assumed office as the 12th Vice-Chancellor of the University on Sunday, November 12, 2017 and will leave office on Friday, November 11, 2022.
