The third International Conference of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Centre of Excellence for Unemployment and Skills Development (ARUA, CoE-USD 2022) holds between Tuesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 28, 2022.
Theme is “Sustainable and Workable Solutions for Youth Unemployment in Africa.”
The international conference will be blended with the physical session scheduled to take place at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
Executive Director, Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis, Dr Rose Ngugi will be the Conference Special Guest Speaker.
Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, his Counterparts at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, Professor Stephen Kiama Gitahi and the Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Professor Tony Bailetti as well as the Director, ARUA-CoE for Unemployment and Skills Development, University of Lagos, Prof. Sunday Adebisi are some of the dignitaries expected at the conference.
Other collaborators at the 3rd ARUA, CoE-USD international conference are the University of Kwazulu-Natal and University of Cape Town both in South Africa as well as the University of Ghana.
The ARUA, CoE-USD 2022 is sponsored by the ARUA-UKRI (UK Research and Innovation) Capacity Grant.
