Dr. Basirat Ashabi Oyalowo, a Researcher at the Department of Estate Management, and Mr. Bolarinwa Ajigboye, Assistant Registrar in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and Research Administrator have both won the International Research Exchange (IREX) UASP Grant.
The proposed project which is titled, “Co-creating a Research Communication Strategy to Enhance Research Impact at the University of Lagos” seeks to establish a communication framework to improve the impact of research in society.
As part of the obligations, the grant awardees are expected to organize a series of workshops where key stakeholders across Media, Government, Industry, and Community leaders would engage researchers and administrators in the University to develop an acceptable strategy for communicating research and its outcomes to the public for greater impact.
The first in the series of workshops will hold as follows:
