Access Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s foremost financial institutions, has expressed its desire to explore additional ways to partner with the University of Lagos.
Regional Manager (Lagos Island) of Access Bank Plc, Mrs Faith Aziegbe, disclosed this at a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, when she led a three-man contingent of the bank to pay a courtesy call.
Mrs Aziegbe expressed gratitude to the University of Lagos for the warm accommodation the Access Bank brand has received in the university community. She therefore asked the Vice-Chancellor for areas of collaborative opportunities between both institutions.

Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, welcomed the team. He charged Access Bank as a big player in the country’s financial sector to do more for the University of Lagos in terms of youth entrepreneurship and innovation. He called their attention to the existence of an Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre (ESDC) on campus and the determination of his administration to train and produce student entrepreneurs who create scalable solutions, right from their stay on campus.
The Access Bank team expressed their gratitude and promised to be back in the month of May with a solid proposition, as a follow-up on the current visit.

The Regional Manager (Yaba), Mrs Nkechi Uzoma; the Client Service Manager, UNILAG Branch, Ms. Olutoyin Olofinlade; and the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Mopelola Olusakin were also in attendance.
