The University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS) is celebrating its 55th anniversary this month. Founded in 1967, the Society has come to be known for its excellence in infant education, grooming of future world leaders, helping indigent undergraduates through their university education, to mention a few.

The ULWS 55th Anniversary celebration commenced on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, with a Walk for Life campaign against drug abuse. Other activities lined up to commemorate the Society’s anniversary are scheduled thus:
