The Efficiency Unit of the University of Lagos hereby informs all departments/units that the under-listed documents are henceforth mandatory from intending contractors bidding for contracts/jobs in the University of Lagos.
This will be with effect from Friday, April 1, 2022 when all documents for the year 2021 would cease to be valid.
A LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (e.g. ABC Nigeria Limited)
- Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years (e.g. 2019, 2020, 2021) expiring the current year (e.g. December 31, 2022).
- Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund Compliance Certificate expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g. 2022).
- Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g. 2022).
- Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g. 2022).
- Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration report expiring December 31 of the current year (e.g. 2022).
B. BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (e.g. XYZ Enterprises)
- Certificate of Business Name issued by Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Personal Income Tax valid for the current year (e.g. 2022).
- Form CAC B/N/1 (To reconcile the name on Tax Clearance Certificate with the name of Proprietor)
