The Global Schistosomiasis Alliance (GSA) has appointed Professor Wellington Oyibo as an Ambassador. As Ambassador, Professor Oyibo will facilitate regular and direct exchange with those working on schistosomiasis elimination and control activities in Nigeria and encourage the sharing of experiences with the GSA and the global schistosomiasis community.
