The University is pleased to announce that the following four (4) graduates of the University of Lagos have been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC):

  1. Professor Oluyemisi Adefunke Bamgbose, SAN – Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology, Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan,
  2. Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, SAN – current Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State,
  3. Olabode Olutoyin Olanipekun, SAN – a Managing Partner at Wole Olanipekun & Co.,   and
  4. Chief Olubowale Samuel Taiwo, SAN – Principal Counsel at Wale Taiwo & Co., a top tier litigation law firm based in Lagos.

They, along with 27 other successful candidates, were sworn in on Monday, September 24, 2018.
