The University of Lagos, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the National Universities Commission(NUC),is hosting the first national campaign and advocacy workshopfor quality in Nigeria for the South-West zone.

VENUE: Adebisi Omotola Jelili Multipurpose Hall C
The workshop is organised to create awareness towards enhancing and improving the quality of products and services in the Nigerian, regional and international markets. It is also set to promote and support the development of missing standards and accredited testing and certification mechanisms within the frame work of the national quality infrastructure (NQI) for Nigeria.
The following are targeted Faculties expected to participate in the workshop:
- Arts Law
- Basic Medical Sciences Pharmacy
- Clinical Sciences Science
- Dental Sciences Social Sciences
- Education Faculty Members from the Distance Learning Institute
- Environmental Sciences
There will be presentations from the:
- National Universities Commission (NUC) Consumer Protection Council (CPC)
- Department of Trade Organised Private Sector (OPS)
- World Trade Organisation
This workshop provides opportunities for Faculty Members to be involved in all aspects of quality standard systems and to network.
