Delegates of the University of Lagos will attend the 2018 edition of the United Nations Biodiversity Conference on Convention on Biological Diversity from Saturday 17th to Thursday 29th, November, 2018.
It is worthy to note that Team UNILAG was nominated by the University of Lagos and the Coordinator of the International University Network on Cultural and Biological Diversity (IUNCBD), Prof. Pierluigi Bozzi. Members of the Team which will be led by the Director, Centre for Biodiversity Conservation & Ecosystem Management (CEBCEM), Unilag, Prof. Bola Oboh are:

- Khalid Adekoya and
- Oludare Agboola
The Convention, with the theme “Investing in Biodiversity for People and Planet” will hold at the Sharm el-Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate, Egypt. It will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the UN Biodiversity Conference and also include the 14th meeting of signatories to the Convention on Biological Diversity.
In the course of the event, Team UNILAG will make presentations on the following:
- Policy Support Research in Conservation and Mapping Experiences of the University of Lagos in Nigeria Wetland and Inland Ecosystems.
- Designing Research to Support Biodiversity Policy –ISDRS and IUNCBD Methods and Experiences
