The Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos in conjunction with the Institute for Digital Humanities, Historical & Cultural Information, University of Cologne, Germany will host the 2nd Lagos Summer School in Digital Humanities (LSSDH-2018) from Friday, September 28  to Saturday, October 6, 2018.

The Summer School with the theme: Humanities, Technology, Innovation: A Multidisciplinary Forum for the Exploration of Tools, Techniques and Theory in Digital Humanities is an International Summer Institute in Digital Cultures & Digital Scholarship. It will commence with plenary and parallel sessions on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Rooms A401 & A301 at the Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos.

The Opening Ceremony, which will feature a Keynote Address by Professor Dan O’Donnell of University of Lethbridge, Canada, titled: The Human Sciences and New Technologies: Exploring Digital Tools for Innovation and Development will hold as follows:

The Lagos Summer School in Digital Humanities (LSSDH-2018) which is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation, Germany will carter to participants from various institutions in Nigeria as well as from Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo and Republic of Benin.
